Limestone

This project follows a similar theme to my initial project “Slate’ in that it focuses on aspects of the landscape associated with a specific rock form, in this case limestone. The north of England has some fine examples of limestone pavements and rocks, particularly across the counties of Cumbria and Yorkshire. Dating back to the ice age these areas are populated by a diversity of plant species despite the harsh and hostile environment.
